Travelers...don't get caught off guard and ruin your vacation. There are new passport laws you should BE AWARE of. The new US passport laws, and the requirements and effective dates for a new passport, have been changing frequently. As we predicted in 2007, the government passport process did bog down.....and vacations were ruined. As a result, the U.S. Government has made improvements and extended some enforcement dates.

From our experience and research in the how to get a passport process, and expedite one if necessary, we found some answers hard to find and the how to get a passport process confusing and overwhelming. We even found many news reports to have incomplete and conflicting information. Therefore, we offer updates, suggestions, links and helpful hints before starting the passport process. The information can change daily and we do our best but you must check the government passport site ultimately.
