Dog/Cat Food Recalls:

Past deadly pet food recalls had pet owners extremely worried. The recalls were expanded from wet food to dry food to some dog biscuits and treats, and then some pet food products from Canada.

People and pets must be healthy to travel. During the past pet food recall scares, travellers felt uncomfortable leaving their pets to go on vacation or taking their pets with them if they were sick. Pet owners turned to finding safe food alternatives for their pets?

Our pet, Cookie, loves to travel

We already buy organic dog food for our lovable white dog because it does not have pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, growth hormones or antibiotics. After we switched our lovable dog to organic dog food, his eyes and ears cleared up and he scratches less.

Many people are switching to organic pet food. At present, we have found that this is working for us, but we don't know whether problems could occur with organic foods in the future. Ultimately, everyone should become well-informed by doing their own research to be able to make the decision that is best for them. Some pet owners have started to make their own pet food. People are taking control of their lives and are searching the web for dog and cat pet food recipes, pet food recipe books, organic pet food sources and safe dog and cat food brands. The internet has become a valuable resource to find these pet food products, especially when stores have to clear their shelves of some brands during a recall. Also, the internet offers more choices and convenience.

Now it would be nice if we could get all human food organic and free of awful ingredients so we could stay healthy...and scratch less!

  • Wal-Mart has stopped selling Chicken Jerky Strips from Import-Pingyang Pet Product Co. and Chicken Jerky and from Shanghai Bestro Trading, UPC 0087784900006.
